GOING PLACES

For me, these words have been opportune, a catalyst to review the studio processes, in particular improvisation, that define my work. Reflections and interrogations have in turn become a short essay, ‘A Journey worth Taking’, soon to follow on this page. By way of what I hope will be a useful introduction, and illustration, the slideshow and thumbnails below chart the unfolding of various works, starting with 15 states of the painting 'Sweeping Light.'
